Council closure over the holidays

This year, Council’s main office, depots and libraries will close down for Christmas at 12.30pm on Monday 24 December 2018 and reopen at 8.30am on Wednesday 2 January 2019.  It is expected that a skeleton staff will cover for Monday 24 December 2018.

During the closure:

Out of School Hours care will close on Monday 24 December 2018 at 6pm and reopen on Wednesday 2 January 2018 at 8am.The waste management facilities at Surf Beach, Moruya and Brou will remain open to the general public except on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day to the general public. Council operations including domestic collection, street litter bins and the street sweeper will continue as normal.The Visitor Information Centres in Batemans Bay and the swimming pools in Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma will be open as normal except on Christmas Day.Moruya Airport will continue as normal.Community aged care and disability services will provide essential planned services.Our after-hours telephone service 1800 755 760 will be fielding calls and a team of operational staff will provide emergency response during this time.
