The LJ Hooker Reg Cowden Memorial Sports Star of the Year Awards are a legacy for Reg Cowden and his lengthy dedication to sport in the Lithgow region.
Preparations for the Awards have been finalised, with the presentation to be held in conjunction with the 2019 Australia Day Ceremony at Queen Elizabeth Park, Lithgow.
Presentation of awards for the 2018 LJ Hooker Reg Cowden Memorial Sports Star of the Year to be announced at the Australia Day Ceremony include the Junior and Senior Team Achievements of the Year, Sports Star Encouragement Award, and the Junior and Senior Sports Star of the Year.
The remaining awards will be recognized at an afternoon tea to be held in the Council Chambers in March 2019.
