Update - Bridge of Remembrance - 23 and 24 Jan 2019

Fulton Hogan continues their work to complete the Bridge of Remembrance.

To undertake the planned tensioning of the bridge, all the lanes on the Tasman Highway in the vicinity of the bridge will be closed for 10 minutes every 45 minutes between 2 am and 4 am on Wednesday 23 January and Thursday 24 January.

During these short periods:-

Vehicles heading inbound on the Tasman Highway will be stopped at the McVilly Drive slip lane onto the Tasman Highway. Vehicles heading straight outbound on the Tasman Highway will be stopped at the intersection of the Tasman Highway and Liverpool Street. Vehicles will still be able to turn onto Liverpool Street from the Tasman Highway during this time. Vehicles turning right onto the Tasman Highway from Liverpool Street will be stopped at the intersection of the Tasman Highway and Liverpool Street. Those travelling at these times are encouraged to consider the best alternate route for them or wait for the 10 minute closure is over.
