Just Call 1300 Baw Baw

Baw Baw Shire residents can now call Council by dialling 1300 BAW BAW.

The new phone number was suggested by a staff member as a simple and easy way to contact Council without having to remember a traditional landline number.

Residents can use 1300 BAW BAW (1300 229 229) or the traditional landline number (03 5624 2411) to contact Council.

This initiative is supported by Council’s commitment to high quality and customer-focused service.

Other recent Council initiatives supporting improved customer service and community engagement include the introduction of Live Chat on Council’s website, an improved phone system to trim call wait periods, live streaming Council meetings and the downloadable Snap Send Solve app.

“This is a great, simple suggestion from one of our staff. Although it’s only a small change, it’s another example of our commitment to improve our customer service and simplify the ways our community can engage with us.”
