Capel Civic Precinct Stage 3A Carpark

The construction of a new car park at the Capel Civic Precinct will start this Tuesday, 29 January 2019.

The project has been awarded to Carbone Bros Pty Ltd and the works include:

34 new car bay including 2 Disabled Access(ACROD) bays; 3 existing tree removals; 4 new tree plantations; Car park lighting; Line marking; and  Minor landscaping. 

The work area will be isolated by a barrier fence. Traffic management, including pedestrian warning signage, will be in place prior to commencing the construction. Users are urged to take extra care in the vicinity of the work. 

The carpark will take up to three months to complete. The Shire of Capel apologises for any inconvenience caused during the carpark construction.
