ROADS UPDATE: On the Mulligan Highway the Little Annan is currently 0.9m over and closed to all traffic, and the McLeod River is 0.5m over the crossing and closed. Conditions remain fairly unchanged on the Peninsula Development Road, with the Laura River still 1m below the bridge, and Myall Creek and the Archer River closed. There are also numerous closures on smaller local crossings - check www.cook.qld.gov.au/services/disaster for road updates before travelling, and if it's flooded, forget it.
