ROADS UPDATE: On the Peninsula Development Road the Laura River is 1m below the bridge, and Myall Creek an the Archer River are several metres over the crossing. On the Mulligan Highway the Little Annan has just gone over again and is at 0.15m and rising, and the McLeod River is 0.1m below the crossing. Remember these levels are constantly changing with the rainfall - check www.cook.qld.gov.au/services/disaster for road updates before travelling, and if it's flooded, forget it.
