This International Women’s Day event is sold out.
This year’s IWD theme is Balance for Better, to build a gender-balanced world.
The event will take place at 2.00pm – 6.30pm on Thursday 7 March at The Memo, 235 Maroondah Highway, Healesville.
The event will be hosted by disability and LGBTIQ rights activist Jax Jacki Brown, with speakers Jill Stark and Tracey Spicer speaking to the group.
Broadcaster, author and Walkley Award winning journalist Tracey Spicer AM (pictured below) is a highly sought after writer, speaker and trainer, whose career spans 30 years. In May 2017, Tracey released her memoir The Good Girl Stripped Bare.
Tracey is known for spearheading Now Australia to tackle sexual harassment, abuse and assault in workplaces and encouraging people to share their #MeToo stories.
Author and award-winning journalist Jill Stark (pictured below) will speak about creating a gender balanced world, and her experiences throughout her career.
Jill is the author of High Sobriety: My Year Without Booze and Happily Never After. Jill is a natural born storyteller with a passion for equality, social justice and mental health.
