ROADS UPDATE: On the Mulligan Highway the Little Annan and McLeod river crossings are open. On the Peninsula Development Road the Laura River north is 1.82m above the bridge and falling, the Archer River is 2.52m over and falling, the Wenlock River at Moreton is 4.5m over and falling, and Myall Creek is 0.65m over and falling slowly. There is more rain expected across the Cape and farther south over the next several days, so please check road conditions on our disaster dashboard before leaving: www.cook.qld.gov.au/services/disaster
