Mosman Council has commenced a streetscape upgrade at Spit East to improve the amenity and safety of the area and enhance the site as the northern gateway to Mosman.
The Spit East Streetscape Upgrade is now well underway, with Stage 1 nearing completion. A new paved laneway and indented bus bay have been introduced to the Spit East foreshore.
The final component of Stage 1, beginning early February, will deliver additional traffic calming, new signage, bike hoops and landscaping at the northern end of Spit East near the foreshore.
The second and final stage, which will include an upgraded laneway, footpath, additional parking, loading zones, signage and landscaping at the southern end of the Spit East precinct, is set to commence in March 2019.
