UPDATE: deadline extended to midnight Saturday 2 February 2019

Weather dependent, Council will facilitate a food supply via helicopter to the Giru Shop later today. Residents will then be able to purchase essential goods from the shop.

Any person who is isolated and cannot access the shop can contact Council on (07) 4783 9800 BEFORE 12 noon today (Saturday 2 February) to discuss the possibility of reuspply. Please see attached images for information.
