Local not-for-profit community organisations from the arts, youth and intercultural sectors have been urged to apply for funding through round three of the City of Ballarat 2018-2019 Community Impact Grants program.
The grant program is a great opportunity for community groups to apply for funding for projects, equipment upgrades, community or neighbourhood-based events or even ideas that need an injection of funding to become a reality.
Applications are now open online and close Friday 1 March, 2019.

In the first six months of the 2018-2019 program, more than $110,000 has been granted to 26 local not-for-profit community groups.
City of Ballarat Mayor Cr Samantha McIntosh says the Community Impact Grant program is a fantastic opportunity for groups to access funding, helping them to deliver a range of projects.
“While we receive many applications from a wide range of groups, we would like to see more community organisations in the arts, youth and intercultural sectors apply for grants.
“The committee really encourages innovation and creativity. It would be fantastic to see applications that are out of the box, projects and events that showcase the vibrant and thriving arts, youth and intercultural sectors that we have in Ballarat.”
