Council wishes to advise that the water supply in the area of Falnash Street, Portland may be affected on 13th February 2019 due to upgrades to the Fish River Water Supply.
Residents may experience a reduction in water pressure or no water between 8am – 4pm on Wednesday, 13th February 2019 due to upgrade works being undertaken by Fish River Water Supply.
Upon return of normal service, residents may experience dirty water for a period. Council will endeavour to minimise this by flushing the mains. Before using the water for domestic purposes, residents are advised to run a tap to ensure the water is clean and any dirt released into the system has been flushed.
Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and would like to ensure residents that the service will be returned as soon as possible.
