Giru residents able to use both yellow and green lid bins for excess general waste

Due to the ongoing weather situation, Council confirms Giru residents can now use both the yellow and green lid bins for any excess general waste.

Council originally approved the use of the green lid bins but as not all households in the Giru and surrounding areas north of the Haughton River have green lid bins, it was decided to extend the approval to the yellow lid bins.
