Media Release - 8 February 2019
Expressions of interest are closing soon for Council’s new Economic Gardening Program which will give Campbelltown’s business owners the tools and guidance they need to scale their business upwards and to grow their venture beyond our region.
The five-part facilitated workshop program is structured with a coaching component to help businesses grow from within.
The free program begins with a one-day boot camp on 20 March which will help business owners identify any gaps and weakness in their business so they can identify factors including the nature of their product or service, their competitive advantage, target markets and how to conduct effective market research and identify useful data resources.
The four remaining workshops will cover customer relationship management, financial management, digital strategy and social media and advanced marketing and innovation. These workshops will be held in the evenings between 3 April and 12 June.
Selected businesses in the program will then have the opportunity to receive one-on-one coaching from business consultants and mentorship to identify, assess and then address the issues currently impeding their business from success.
Places in the Economic Gardening Program are limited, so registration is essential.
Active participation is required in all workshops and only applicants who can commit to attending all five workshops should apply.
Expressions of interest close on Thursday, 28 February and successful businesses will be notified in early March.
