COEN SUPPLY UPDATE at 9.30am February 8: Supplies will be flown into Coen this weekend, with two flights scheduled for Saturday and two more on Sunday. A local helicopter pilot has also been contracted from Laura to re-supply six remote stations in the area. The Cook Shire Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) would like to thank the Coen and Cape residents for their patience while waiting for State Government approval for the re-supply and the Coen SES for their assistance.
