On Wednesday 6 February, the Borough of Queenscliffe welcomed the Trakmaster Off-Road Caravan Club to town for its 2019 annual gathering.
The Trakmaster Off-Road Caravan Club is a not-for-profit organisation that provides social, educational and recreational activities for its members. The club spends considerable time throughout the year scouting for an appropriate location for its annual gathering. This year’s annual gathering will be attended by more than 100 Trakmaster caravanners.
Victoria Park will be home for the Trakmaster’s from Wednesday 6 February until Wednesday 13 February 2019.
Borough of Queenscliffe Mayor, Cr Bob Merriman thanked the Trakmaster Off-Road Caravan Club for making the choice to stay in the Borough of Queenscliffe.
“We feel very privileged that the Trakmaster Off-Road Caravan Club has chosen our wonderful Borough to host its annual gathering. Victoria Park will no doubt provide the ideal location to explore Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale and experience the beauty of our beaches, historic buildings and enjoy some excellent local dining and shopping.”
“Our local community groups, clubs and businesses have been warmly anticipating the club’s visit and look forward to hosting members of the Trakmaster Off-Road Caravan Club over the duration of their stay,” said Cr Merriman.
The Trakmaster philosophy is to give back to the community they visit. Through their stay in the Borough, club members will be supporting the community’s local economy and community groups, having already booked in a number of activities and events.
