Neighbour Day 2019

Brisbane Sunday, March 31, 2019 Neighbour Day is Australia’s annual celebration of local communities held in the last week of March each year. It’s a great day to meet with your neighbours and help create a strong, safe community where people look out for each other. You could simply say hello to your neighbour and have a chat over the fence or invite your neighbour over for a cup of tea. You could even arrange a larger social gathering, like a BBQ, afternoon tea, lunch or a picnic in your local park. Do you have a green thumb? Head to your local community garden and composting hub, join a community conservation program and volunteer at Council’s environment centres.
