Blind date with a book this Valentine’s Day Monday 11 February

Feeling romantic and want to try something new?

Visit our libraries for Library Lover’s Day this Valentine’s Day (Thursday, February 14) and borrow a hidden book. You will find out what it is once you have taken the book home.

Council’s Senior Library Programs Officer Jane Wembridge says “We encourage you to give your blind date book a chance, even if you are reluctant at first.”

“You may discover a new genre you never thought you would enjoy and open up a new world of experiences,” she said.

Valentine’s Day blind dates will be available on February 14 at:

Bairnsdale Library Lakes Entrance Service Centre Mallacoota Service Centre                                                                                 Omeo Service Centre                                                                                      Orbost Service Centre                                                                                           Paynesville Service Centre will be conducting blind dates for the week 11 to 15 February.
