Rita Island and Groper Creek general waste to be collected Thursday 14 February

Following disruption to normal waste collection services due to the recent weather event, Council has confirmed that Rita Island and Groper Creek residents can place any excess general waste in their yellow lid bins.

Rita Island and Groper Creek residents who have placed general waste in their yellow lid bin should put out both their red and yellow lid bins for collection on Thursday 14 February. Due to circumstances, one truck will collect both bins.

Rita Island residents who have not placed any excess general waste in their yellow lid bin should refrain from putting out their yellow lid bin until their normal recycling waste collection service on Monday 18 February. Groper Creek residents should refrain from putting out their yellow lid bin until their normal service on Monday 25 February.
