DA015/19 – Demolition of Wang Power Station

Council is in receipt of a development application for the demolition & deconstruction of the Wallerawang Power Station on land known as Lot 1 DP 443235, Main Street Wallerawang. The development is Integrated Development under Division 4.8 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and that requires an activity approval under Section 91 of the Water Management Act 2000, from the Lands & Water Division; Natural Resources Access Regulator; Department of Industry.

The development application referred to in this notice, accompanying Statement of Environmental Effects and documents are available for public inspection, free of charge, for a period 30 days, between 16 February and 18 March 2019 at:

Wallerawang Public Library Main Street Wallerawang Tues-Wed 10am-1pm, 2pm-6pm, Thurs-Fri 2pm-6pm, Sat 9am-12pm

During this period any person may inspect the plans and make a written submission on the proposal quoting Council’s file reference, Development Application No. DA015/19. All submissions received during this period will be taken into consideration prior to Council’s determination of the application.
