The City of Swan is creating a brand new active recreation space for the community and is currently seeking feedback on its concept plan.
Lot 300, Gray Drive Midvale, located in front of Swan Active Midland, is planned to become an exciting destination for skate, play, active recreation and community events.
City of Swan Mayor David Lucas said the City is keen to hear the community’s feedback on the concept.
“This concept looks to complement the neighbouring Swan Active Midland by providing a vibrant and exciting recreational space,” he said.
“The plan includes space for skate and play activities, active recreation, community amenities, as well as a large open lawn area.
“It’s very important for the City to deliver quality recreational spaces for our growing community.
“We look forward to working with our community to deliver a fantastic active recreation space.”
To get involved, you can view the draft Midvale Outdoor Recreation and Youth Space concept plan on the City’s website.
You can also give feedback on the space by completing our online survey on or before February 21.
On Saturday, February 16, the City will be hosting a community drop-in session at Midland Sports Complex where you can ask questions and share your views.
The drop-in event will take place from 10am-12noon where light refreshments will be provided.
