Closure Newry Island Bridge

Council contractors will be carrying out an asphalt overlay on Newry Island Bridge.

These works will involve the following arrangements:

- Full closure of the bridge on Friday 22 February 2019 between the hours of 10pm to 2am, weather permitting.

- Pedestrian access will be available to residents during the closure times.

- Residents may experience general construction noise during these times.

Signage will be erected advising of this proposed closure. Arrangements have been made for emergency vehicles access if required.  Council apologises for any inconvenience experienced by residents and road users. Should you have any enquiries please contact Customer Service on 6655 7300.
