Cessnock Library is excited to be hosting an author talk with Australian bestselling author and local, Téa Cooper from 10.30am to 12noon on Saturday 16 February 2019.
Téa will discuss all things writerly and her exciting new novel, The Woman In The Green Dress, which will be available for purchase and signing on the day. The Woman In The Green Dress is an historical fiction novel about a woman whose inheritance leads to the discovery of a mysterious past with curious secrets – namely surrounding Australia’s first opal. The book weaves a story of various characters across two different timelines, both in a distant past – one set in the Hawkesbury Region in 1853, the other in 1919 Sydney.
Library Services Co-ordinator, Rose-marie Walters is encouraging locals to come along and enjoy this fabulous and free author talk, which will be followed by a delicious morning tea.
