$4.6 million will be invested in repairing and stabilising Lake Morris Road following damage associated with Severe Tropical Cyclone Nora in March 2018.
The majority of the project, $3.2 million, has been secured from the Federal Government through the Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA).
Federal funds will be spent on repairing stormwater pipes and road embankments, with Council paying for a full reseal of the road pavement.
Works are anticipated to start in April and be completed in mid-2020.
