Feb 19 - Receive your rates notice via email

Cassowary Coast ratepayers can now receive their rates notices via email. Council is inviting ratepayers to switch from postal rates notices to electronic rates notices. A council spokesman said Council was always looking for new efficiencies and ways to reduce unnecessary costs.  "By choosing to receive your notice electronically you will be helping to reduce costs as well as reducing our ecological footprint,'' he said. Ratepayers have until Friday (February 22) to pay their latest rates notice and receive the discount. Anyone who is having difficulty paying their rates is encouraged to ring Council as soon as possible on 1300 763 903 to discuss an agreed payment plan.
