The City of Albany has created new education materials to encourage residents to report, remove and prevent ‘tagging’ in our community.
Supported by the WA Police State Graffiti Fund, the City of Albany will distribute the new brochures to residents in upcoming weeks.
Brochures outline what to do if you’re a victim of graffiti, what can be done to make your property less attractive to vandals and how to report if you witness tagging to police.
City of Albany Senior Community Development Officer Tammy Flett said the new brochures will help address the problem by providing the community with the tools to take action.
“Graffiti is unsightly on the streets of our wonderful town. We want all residents to take pride in our fantastic City and respect others property,” Ms Flett said
“By adopting these tips and tricks you can help keep our beautiful streets free of graffiti vandalism.”

Free Graffiti removal kits are available from the Albany Public Library for reported incidents.
