Old Perth Road welcomes Mounted Police

Today, pedestrians along Bassendean’s Old Perth Road were treated to a visit by WA Police on horseback.  Senior Constable Stuart Hopkins and his horse, Dan (on the left), and Sergeant Claire Wyatt and her horse, Jethro, were given a warm welcome by Councillor Kathryn Hamilton and Mayor Renée McLennan.  The Town has recently commenced discussions with Police regarding the development of a Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan.
