Expressions of Interests are invited from people willing and able to undertake the relocation and reuse of the now vacant Scout and Girl Guide buildings located on reserve land adjacent to Rotary Park on Causeway Road. Relocation of the buildings will be at own cost and expressions of interest can be lodged for one or both buildings up until close of business on 13 March 2019.
Given the historical and cultural significance of these buildings Council is keen to see them relocated within the municipal area. Any expressions of interest consider would also need to demonstrate an ongoing benefit to the community and provide an outline of how the historical feel of the buildings would be maintained.
