Sunraysia residents are invited to a free Pop Up Outdoor Cinema screening of popular family movie Oddball at Nowingi Place this Saturday night.
The event will get under way from 7.30pm starting with live music from local performer Chloe Niutta, who will play through until dusk.
The screening of Oddball will get under way from about 8.30pm.
Councillor for Arts and Culture Jason Modica said the event was perfect for a family night out.
“At this time of the year I couldn’t think of a better family outing than packing a picnic hamper and rug and sitting out under the stars to take in some live music and a family movie,” Cr Modica said.
“We have the perfect climate and a great venue for this type of event, and this is simply a fantastic way to enjoy a ‘night at the movies’ with a difference.”
The alcohol and glass-free event is the first of several Pop Up Outdoor Cinemas planned in coming weeks.
In addition to live music and the movie screening, Bobby & Me will also be operating on the night.
