The second round of the City of Armadale’s Community Grants Program for 2018/19 will open on Tuesday 5 March, 2019.
The City welcomes applications from community groups and not-for profit organisations that wish to receive up to $2000 funding for projects which benefit the local community.
Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said the grants are a great opportunity for community groups to access funding to carry out small projects, provide information or training programs or purchase materials.”
From sporting clubs, school P & C’s, welfare, arts, youth, seniors to multicultural groups can all apply for the grants which close on Monday 1 April.
“Our region’s volunteer-based clubs and groups provide valuable services for the community and the City is pleased to assist them through these grants.”
The City provides two rounds of community grant funding each financial year, with the aim of supporting community-based initiatives developed by groups located in the City of Armadale.
“These small grants can have a big impact and allow groups to deliver events, projects and programs in their community,” said Mayor Zelones.
To be eligible to apply, community groups are required to discuss their project with the relevant member of the Community Services team prior to submitting their application.
To register your interest email [email protected] or call 9394 5651 by Monday 25 March to allow sufficient time to discuss your project before the closing date.
