Plantation Park – Ayr Visitor Information Centre

Burdekin Shire Council advises the construction of the Ayr Visitor Information Centre Redevelopment Project, will be commencing in Plantation Park on Monday 25 February 2019, the works are expected to be completed in June 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Internal roads within Plantation Park will be closed to traffic to enable works to be undertaken safely and efficiently. Reduced footpath widths will be in place on sections of the footpath within the park and pedestrians are advised to take caution.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
