If you’re a local community group, school, or not-for-profit organisation looking for funds to support a Youth Week event, Campaspe Shire Council’s Youth Grant program could help you.

General Manager Economic and Community Development, Mr Keith Oberin said grants up to a maximum of $500 are available to groups who would like to work in partnership with young people to organise local events or activities during Victorian Youth Week from 5 April to 14 April.

“The grant could be used for a variety of things, such as a workshop, sport event, movie night, activities day or a music event,” said Mr Oberin.

“Victorian Youth Week empowers young people to activate their ideas about how to recognise and celebrate their achievements with support available from our youth engagement team.”

Applications are open now and close at 5pm on Friday, 15 March. Application forms are available on council’s website or by contacting Youth Engagement Officer, Brigid Dullard on 5481 2200 or email [email protected]  .
