Public Notice - River Water Main Construction Works - Victoria Street, St George

Council wishes to advise our team will be undertaking water main construction works in Victoria Street, St George  from early March for approximately four months. The works will begin on the southern side of Victoria Street near IGA and continue through to approximately Church Street.

Traffic flow, parking bays and driveway access will at times be impacted by these works.There also will be periodic disruption to river water supply.

Affected residences and businesses will receive a notice in their letterbox advising of any interruptions.

The purpose of these works is to replace ageing infrastructure and remove services from beneath the highway corridor.

Council apologises for any inconvenience that may occur during these works and thanks you for your patience while these importance changes are made.
