Council is leading a city-wide brand initiative to enhance the image and represent the unique identity of Campbelltown.

The city brand, including the development of a new logo, will require the stories, perspective and local knowledge of the community during the next few months.

“The initiative to establish a contemporary city brand is a key element for our community as we evolve into a metropolis at the gateway of the fastest growing region in Australia,” said Mayor George Brticevic.

“It is important to us that we build the area’s reputation to accurately reflect our positive attributes and assets as a city,” said Mayor George Brticevic.

“We want to create a brand that will tell the story of the city in a contemporary way that relates to its people and place,” Cr Brticevic said.

“I encourage everyone to be involved in this project to ensure that this is a brand based on our community’s love and vision for their home town,” he said.

There will be several rounds of community consultation to inform the design of the logo that will be held from March to May that will include vox pops in town centres, organised interviews with community members, co-creation sessions and online surveys.

Brand specialists, Principals, will be undertaking the consultation with the first round of community consultation underway this month, including an online survey and vox pops to learn about community sentiment for the city.
