Ballarat (City) 4 Mar 2019

A community drop-in session will be held tomorrow to gauge feedback into the Draft Doug Dean Reserve Master Plan.

The session will be held at the Deladome at Doug Dean Reserve on Tuesday 5 March, from 10.30-11.30am.

The session is one of a range of ways that residents can have their say on the draft plan. Residents can also provide feedback until 24 March:

using the online form at mysay.ballarat.vic.gov.au   providing written feedback and placing it in the feedback box at the Deladome or posting it to the City of Ballarat, PO Box 655, Ballarat, 3353.

The City of Ballarat is reviewing the Doug Dean Recreation Reserve Masterplan and building on the previous 2002 and 2011 masterplans.

Doug Dean Reserve is highly valued by the community and the Masterplan will assist the City of Ballarat to manage and maintain the Reserve as well as prioritising investments in new or improved facilities.

In late 2018, the City of Ballarat, along with landscape architects PLOT, consulted with user groups, held community consultation drop-in sessions and distributed feedback forms.

This information was collated into a report and used to inform the development of the draft Master Plan for the Doug Dean Reserve, which is available online at mysay.ballarat.vic.gov.au
