Bayside is not affected by changes to the law relating to the assessment of appeals on parking and other fines.

The media is reporting that some Councils are refunding parking fine appeals assessed by an external provider from 2006-2016.

Bayside assess parking fine appeals through an internal Council team using clear guidelines under the Infringements Act. Council has never outsourced this important function.
