Information on upcoming Council Item

The State Administrative Tribunal has recently heard the Shalom House applications for both Park Street and Forest Road (held over 11-14 and 26 February 2019). The SAT has noted an administrative omission in the Council’s decision on the Park Street application made on September 26, 2018, that the Council did not make express reference that its refusal was made under both its Local Planning Scheme and under the Metropolitan Region Scheme.

At the request of the parties involved in the Shalom appeal the application will be re-presented to Council at the meetings of March 7 and 13  2019, so that Council can also express a decision under the Metropolitan Region Scheme.
