Lithgow General Manager Graeme Faulkner today acknowledged the contribution of Lithgow residents Katie Churchill and Barry Kavanagh who researched, compiled and presented the retail Working Party Report to Lithgow Council’s Economic Development Committee at its meeting on 4th March 2019.

The Working Party researched the dramatic changes in retail at the International, National and Local levels, and developed recommendations focusing on the digital economy for Lithgow Retailers to consider in order to succeed in a changing retail sector.

“This is the third volunteer Working Party that has marshalled Lithgow community expertise and provided strategic insight for Council on the subject researched, with all recommendations commended to Council for adoption” said the General Manager.

Council will consider the Economic Development Committees recommendations based on the Working Party’s results at its next ordinary Council Meeting.
