Commuters using the Kings Highway can expect minor delays as a section of damaged pavement is patched and resurfaced this month.

Approximately 900 metres of highway, starting 100 metres from the Bayridge Road intersection and running west, has deteriorated due to heat and high levels of traffic over the busy Christmas holiday period.

The work to patch badly affected areas and resurface the entire segment with new high-grip asphalt is scheduled to occur between 7am and 6pm, Tuesday 12 to Friday 15 March, weather permitting.

There are three lanes at this location, with at least one or two lane closures each day. Traffic control will be in place, with minor delays expected.

Eurobodalla Council has a contract to manage the work on behalf of Roads and Maritime Services. For more information contact Council’s Moruya Depot on 4474 1391.
