East Gippsland Shire Council will complete works to improve pedestrian access at the Luderick Point Boat Ramp at Bemm River next week.
Council will replace the access ramp which links the land to the northern floating jetty.
Acting Director Operations Fiona Weigall said this will reduce the angle of the ramp, making it easier to walk across.
“The ramp in place at the moment has two panels, which creates a V shaped dip when the water level is low and a lip when the water level is high," Ms Weigall said.
"The panels will be replaced with a single length of ramp which will improve access."
The works will begin on Tuesday, March 12 and should take three days to complete. The boat ramp will remain open throughout the works.
The Luderick Point Boat Ramp was upgraded in 2017.
