Edwards Street – Footpath Works

Burdekin Shire Council advises that footpath re-construction works will be undertaken in Edwards Street from Wilmington to Graham Street. The works are scheduled to commence on Monday 11th March 2019 and are expected to be completed by Friday 29th March 2019, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Edwards Street will remain open during these works but will be subject to reduced speed limits and on-street parking restrictions. A pedestrian detour will be in place to enable work to be undertaken safely and efficiently.

Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum for road users during the construction period. Burdekin Shire Council thanks residents and road users for their patience during these works.
