Yep. You heard right, during March 2019, our very own Coorong National Park features as the @nationalparkssa 'Park of the Month'. So there's no better time to celebrate Storm Boy Country, and #NationalParksSA have thrown in a bunch of special events throughout the month to add to the fun, including a fun run and guided ranger walk. Seriously though, you should take advantage of free camping at the 42 Mile Crossing campground during the March long weekend ???? (that's from this Friday, March 8 - Monday, 11 March, bookings essential). . Best part is - you don't need to drive two days into the outback for moments of peaceful wilderness, the Coorong is only a short drive from Adelaide (???? 2 hours SE of Adelaide on the Meningie side, and only 1 hour on the Goolwa side). @georgiaday knows just how to soak up some sun near the dunes ????. . The park's vastly unique landscape provides the perfect venue for plenty of outdoor activities like camping, boating, kayaking, bushwalking, fishing, bird watching, 4WDing, and rich history to sink your teeth into.
