Do you have a story waiting to burst out of you but don’t know where to start? Then the free 8 week creative narrative writing course starting soon at the Lithgow Library is for you.

Storytelling is part of us. We all have stories to tell, but some find it difficult to get started, particularly when it comes to writing it down. This 8 week creative narrative writing course will take you through the steps and techniques used in creating a good story.

“There is a lot of interest in writing stories and the Library often gets asked about writing groups and classes,” said Mayor, Cr Ray Thompson. “I am sure that this course will be popular, especially because it is free so I encourage you to book early”.

The course will be run by Teacher Dawn Kreves from Wednesday 20 March 2019 until 8 May 2019. It will be held in the Library meeting room between 11:00am and 12.30pm. Places are limited to ensure everyone gets the best result from the course, so bookings are essential and can be made by contacting the Library on 6352 9100.
