The workshops will be presented by Alison Bannister from Career Consulting and will be held at Safety Bay Library on Thursday 21 March, Rockingham Central Library on Thursday 28 March from and the Mary Davies Library and Community Centre on Thursday 11 April. All sessions will run from 10.30am–12pm. Each workshop will give participants skills to improve their confidence when job searching, a range of easy tips and tricks to automate job searching strategies and an understanding of how to build networks and improve their chances of success. The sessions are suitable for adults. Mayor Barry Sammels encouraged residents to make a booking before places filled up. "The City of Rockingham’s libraries offer a fantastic range of services and programs to residents and we are delighted to be able to host the Craft Your Career workshops," Mayor Sammels said. "Participants will have the opportunity to learn about some helpful career enhancing tips in networking and job searching during the workshops, which will be delivered by an industry expert. "All sessions are free to attend but bookings are essential so I urge people to register their interest before spaces are gone."
