Update Stratham Odour

The Shire of Capel has been actively liaising with the landowner to remove manure suspected of being a source of significant offensive odours in the Stratham area. The Shire regards the impact on residents and visitors enjoyment of the area as serious. Under instruction from health officers, a very large manure stockpile has been removed and manure already spread on a paddock east of Bussell Highway is scheduled for removal as soon as a contractor becomes available, preferably in the next week.
