No plans for Saturday 16 March? Have a plan, but want a better one? Well then, Gladstone Regional Libraries have you sorted with their Books, Bubbles and Brie evening.
A chance to wine and dine with local literary legends, the evening will see authors from across the Gladstone Region gather to have a chat about their careers.
Gladstone Region Councillor Kahn Goodluck said the evening gives community members the chance to get a glimpse into life as an author.
“We have a region filled with talented authors, and an evening such as this one enables those aspiring to follow in their footsteps and provides a chance to gain some valuable knowledge,” Councillor Goodluck said.
“It also is an opportunity for the authors to showcase their talent, creativity and perseverance.”
Fiction, non-fiction, young adult and children’s books will be on display and available for purchase.
“I encourage everyone to go along and support our talented region,” he said.
