The Esplanade Pontoon - Closure

Council has been made aware of some damage to a section of one of the platforms on the pontoon as The Esplanade. At this stage, Council is not sure if this was deliberate damage or if it was a failure of the facility, but we will be looking into this to determine the structural integrity as a priority.

Either way, the pontoon will be closed off with security fencing until the damage can be assessed and fixed. Please take notice of the signage and stay off the pontoon to avoid further damage and any risk of personal harm.
