What do you imagine for the Eureka Centre and Eureka Stockade Memorial Gardens?
That’s what the City of Ballarat wants to find out.
We’re currently seeking your insights to help develop an Interpretation Plan, with a new vision and objectives for the Eureka Centre and Eureka Stockade Memorial Gardens.
The plan will guide how we interpret, share and commemorate the Eureka story at this important place.
We started the conversation in December, with more than 100 people contributing to the online survey to date.
The online survey will remain open until 31 March and asks contributors:
• What you love about the Eureka story and want to see told • What you want to retain about the Eureka Centre and Eureka Stockade Memorial Gardens • What you imagine for the Eureka Centre and Eureka Stockade Memorial Gardens
A series of community drop-in sessions have also been organised to give residents an opportunity to provide feedback to City of Ballarat staff in person.
Community drop in sessions: Thursday 21 March 2.30–7pm at the Eureka Centre
Tuesday 26 March 2.30–7pm at the Eureka Centre
Community members interested in attending are not required to register and can simply drop-in at the Eureka Centre between 2.30-7pm on March 21 and 26.
