Residents will see Gympie Regional Council staff out and about over the next fortnight carrying out a number of road maintenance activities.
Eight of the region’s rural roads are due to be graded over the coming two weeks.
Roads include Brooweena Woolooga, Murgon-Kilcoy, Kin Kin, Wolvi Mountain, Hay, Stewart,Lewis and Sanders Roads.
Asphalt repairs are scheduled for Wolvi-Kin Kin Road, Tin Can Bay Road, Bruce Highway, Burnett Highway north and south, Gympie Woolooga Road, Gympie-Brooloo Road and Kenilworth-Skyring Creek Road.
There will be concrete repairs at Upper Thornside Road, O’Connell Street and Crescent Road and slashing on the Wide Bay Highway, and around the Mary Valley, Calico Creek, East Deep Creek,and Anderleigh Road areas.
Drainage works are scheduled for Callemonda Road, Ernst Road, North Deep Creek Road, Scrubby Creek Road, Lymburner Road, Boonaravale Road and Manumbar Road.
Council crews will also continue work on the Gear Road Bridge rebuild which is in its final stages before completion.
